ABOUT
Marlene is a driven woman who is employed at the Top Girls employment agency in London. She has left her former life in rural England, and her child with her sister Joyce, in order to climb the career ladder. Set in the Britain of Margaret Thatcher in the early 1980’s, the play examines what it means to be a successful woman, initially using historical characters to explore different aspects of womens’ social achievement.
