ABOUT

Set in 1922 during the civil war — a threefold tragedy of poverty, war and alcoholism. Jack Boyle is determined to avoid work at all costs and drinks and postures with his sidekick, Joxer, while Boyle’s wife Juno tries to hold the family together in a squalid tenement flat.
