  • “Rise and Shine has spirit and polish and it’s an excellent chance to get acquainted with this promising new director.” “...the serious question of existence, raised with delicious humor in the play, will probably run forever.”

    Elizabeth O’Hara

A play about the trials and tribulations of a Dublin couple desperately trying to get up out of bed in what appears to be an oft-enacted late-morning tussle of wills. The very absurdity of their situation gives rise to the peculiarly Irish wit and fantasy with which the characters spice the insipid broth of another morning.
